A valve can fit the pipework while its handle still hits the trailer frame. Banjo’s 1⅜-inch offsets change the handle arrangement above the valve, providing a clearance option for the specific bodies in its compatibility table.

The stem fit comes before the extra clearance
The BL versions belong to the listed bottom-load valves. A V25153138BL and the non-BL V25153138 therefore describe different compatibility, even when both appear alongside 2-inch full-port valves.
The offset changes where the handle operates. The entire sweep still occupies space above and beside the stem, including the operator’s hand and the handle’s two end positions.
Offsets and brackets have different functions
A mounting bracket supports the valve body. A locking accessory restricts movement. The offset changes the handle arrangement. Those accessories can appear on the same catalogue page while performing separate jobs.
The selected offset also has to preserve the intended handle travel and position indication. Extra leverage is not a repair for a seized valve, and the compatibility table does not establish an arrangement of stacked offsets.
